The Barrelhouse Rockets came from a mutual love for traditional rockability, honkey-tonk, and boogie woogie, a genre that seemed to be lacking in the area. Their in-your-face style of rockability becomes infectious, sometimes to the point of a controlled frenzy that highlights call and return vocals, guitar, and piano.
